Two Kids on White Cliffs

Today, we were going to raise anchor and keep sailing to North White Cliffs from our overnight stay at South White Cliffs, but because of the rain, we really couldn't be bothered.

This morning, Cameron and I went to the beach, where we found steep cliffs, green trees and black, burnt trees, all of which were dripping with rain from the past few days. Cameron and I found a good, tree free spot to access the steep cliffs. I found a path up the sand to a slope that, instead of angling up, sloped gently downwards to a small drop. We piled soft sand at the bottom, and slid down a little dip like it was a slide. The bad result was a filthy pair of pants and two VERY cold kids. The good result was a hot shower, a thermos of Mum's heavenly Hot-chocolate and a choc fudge cupcake with thick chocolate icing, mmm! The rain has now stopped and the sun's come out to play. YAY!!!
